Moneyline
The moneyline bet is straightforward, choose the team you think will win the game. The odds associated with each team reflect the likelihood of that team winning and also determine the potential payout.
Point Spread
The point spread bet - sometimes called “the line” - adds a layer of risk by factoring in the margin of victory. Instead of simply picking a team to win or lose, you choose whether a team will cover the spread by exceeding or falling short of a predetermined point margin.
Total Points
Also known as the over/under, the total points bet is a wager on the combined score of both teams. Instead of predicting a winner or loser, you wager on whether the final score will land over or under a specified total set by the sportsbook.
